    Wage & Hour Rights and Responsibilities

    Wage Payment: Employee rights consist of:- Spend for all salaries earned (INFO # 3) at the rate accepted by the company and employee.
    - Pay of a minimum of base pay (INFO # 1), the suitable Colorado or regional base pay, and all made overtime incomes without impermissible deductions from their wages;.
    - Pay of all earned wages without impermissible reductions (INFO # 16).


    Labor Statutes, Rules, & Published Guidance

    Statutes & Rules: job DLSS imposes a lot of Colorado's wage and hour and other kinds of labor statutes and labor guidelines, consisting of the Colorado Wage Act, the Colorado Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards (" COMPS Order"), and the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Please check out the Division's Labor Statutes and Labor Rules web pages for job present and prior versions of key Colorado labor statutes and guidelines.
    Published Guidance: The Division's primary types of public guidance are:- INFOs (Interpretive Notices and Formal Opinions) - the Division's officially authorized notices, opinions, and descriptions on various labor law subjects; and.
    - KNOWLEDGEs (Knowledge for Workers on Labor job Law is Empowering & Drives Good Employment) one-page summaries for workers on their labor rights.


    Written Demands, Complaints, & Investigations

    Demands & Complaints for Wages: job If a company owes you incomes, you can send your company a composed demand for payment of earnings by mail, e-mail, text, or other electronic means. A written demand might be sent to the employer at the same time a Labor Standards Form for unsettled incomes is submitted with the Division. The Labor Standards Complaint Form can be found on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements webpage.
    Employer Responses in Investigations: Once a total Labor Standards Complaint Form is received and examined, a letter describing the nature of the complaint and the quantities alleged to be owed is sent out to the company. For more details about the investigation process, please examine the Wage & Hour Claim Investigations - Employer FAQs website.
    Investigations Launched by the Division (" Direct Investigations"): The Division may perform employer-wide direct examinations of prospective offenses of Colorado wage and hour law. If you wish to send a suggestion, please email the Division at cdle_di_tips@state.co.us. If you want to submit an individual claim for job overdue wages, job you must complete a Labor Standards Complaint Form on our Demands, Complaints, Responses, and Settlements website. To appeal a direct investigation citation or one or more Notices of Assessment, a supposed company may submit a Direct Investigation Appeal Form.
